Oklahoma Ground Water Association's (OGWA) mission is to serve as an advocate and resource for the ground water industry in Oklahoma.

2013 Scholarship

All Applicants
1. Three scholarships up to $2500 each will be available.
2. Applicants, regardless of age, must be planning to attend a Technology Center, college or University, or taking other Career Training in Fall 2013 – In Oklahoma
3. High school seniors and high school graduates, as well as current Tech Center attendees and college freshmen, sophomores, and juniors, may apply.
4. Money may be used for tuition, board & room, books, fees, tools needed for courses/program (e.g. tools at Vo-Tech), or other direct school related expenses.
5. The Scholarship will usually be paid directly into the student’s account at school.
6. Applicant must be a US Citizen.
7. Applicant must be sponsored by an OGWA Member.
8. Applications will be evaluated on both school-related and extracurricular/volunteer activities

College Applicants
1. Applicants currently in High School or attending college must have a 2.5 or higher GPA
2. Applicant must attach a 1 page (about 250 word) essay on some aspect of “Water in Oklahoma” – pollution, use, availability, drought effects, aquatic life, wells, etc. .

Technology Center/Other Tech Or Career Training Program Applicants
1. Applicant must attach a short essay on either their training/career plans, or on some aspect of “Water in Oklahoma”
